Child hunger can take different forms – it can be a skinny child with swollen belly from Africa, who suffers because of severe drought or a child from America, whose parents struggle to make ends, incapable to cover food costs.
With 2,5 million of children dying of malnutrition every year, child hunger has become a matter of the global importance. According to the surveys, 150 million under-five year olds are stunted, 100 million under-five year olds are underweight, 50 million under-five year olds are severely wasted.
